Company Migrations to Fusion
Participation in the migration of financial and configuration data to Oracle Fusion — both as project team support and independently, especially in the case of smaller entities.
Objective:
To transfer accounting operational data and system configurations to the new Fusion ERP environment — ensuring data consistency and full reporting compliance.
Scope:
➤ Preparing migration data (independently for smaller entities)
➤ Verifying and cleaning source data for logical inconsistencies
➤ Collaborating with the IT team on larger migrations (e.g., account structures, document types, bank accounts)
➤ Testing data accuracy post-migration
➤ Participation in over 20 migrations — both full and simplified
Challenges:
➤ Variety of source systems and data structures across companies
➤ Need for rapid action with limited resources
➤ Handling non-standard cases, such as missing account mappings
➤ Managing operational responsibilities in parallel with migration testing
